Application Form

If you are going to apply to join Blackout, create a new topic in the application thread.
Subject of the new topic is your name and class e.g. Aleandra – destruction warlock.
Alternatively, you can send filled out application form to any of the officers as a private message, if you prefer some sort of discretion. Or just talk to me ingame - but please, check where I am before whispering me, because as sure as hell I am not gonna reply in the middle of arena or boss fight.

Reviewing the application will take some time and you might need to to contact an officer in-game for a little talk.
As well, you will be required to attend one or more raids with us. Come prepared.
Before applying, it is strongly recommended to read what you can here at Blackout forum.

Disclaimer – if you are accepted to Blackout, you will have a Trialist rank for a certain period of time (usually a few weeks), until you prove yourself to us. As a trialist, you may not get many items since higher ranks have priority, but be active and do not make mistakes and you get a promoten in no time. Other restrictions as no access to guild bank may take place as well.

Basic Information
Name, race, class: (most basic information about your character)
Time played: (either your /played time with this class or just use own words, you may as well mention your alts)
Personal Info: (you can tell us your name, age, nationality)

Availability
Activity: (how many raiding days in week can you actually go raid with us being prepared with flask, food, tactics and so on, you can also tell us how often are you online)
Connection: (mention any connection and hardware problems that may hinder your raid performance in any way)
Do you have Ventrilo? (secify yes/no and if you have microphone as well)
Restrictions: (tell us if there are days that you cannot come to raids / have to come later / leave earlier if such restrictions apply)

Character & Gameplay
Armory Link: (pretty obvious and necessary. Don’t dare to lie about things that can be checked in the Armory - which is like absolutely everything)
Talent Build: (be more specific; Say why did you choose this build, what are its pros and cons, how it is played. Do you provide any raid-utility in addition to your main role? If you have dual-spec mention it as well)
Gear: (you are supposed to be properly glyphed, enchanted and gemmed for raiding; we can check Armory - so if anything seems strange, comment it here before we ask; you can also mention any replacement or off-spec pieces we cannot see in Armory or if there is anything on the way e.g. "I will have the crafted boots by the end of the week". )
Professions: (your main professions with any notable recipes acquired, you can also mention the status of your secondary professions as if you have maxed First Aid or some rare cooking recipes)
Addons: (What addons are you using in raids?)
(healers only) Are you using mouseover-macros/clique?
(non-healers only) What is the rotation/priority you use with your abilities? (specify rotations for both single target and multi-target)
How & when you are using your cooldowns/trinkets/potions?
Does your class have certain caps for certain stats? If so, what are they?

Raiding Experience
Raids: (Specify all Cata raids. If you killed only some bosses then specify which ones. Have you done any hard modes?)
Performance: (what can be expected of you in raid environment and how broad is your experience playing the class? If you have a log of a raid you were in, all the better even though its not required)
Achievements: (Is there any achievement you are personally proud of having?)

Guild
History of previous guilds: (guilds where you have been before and why did you leave, if you transferred - then why?)
Expectations of Blackout: (what do you know about Blackout, what do you expect from this guild, reason why are you applying in the first place, why do you want to join the team)
Friends inside: (do you know anyone in Blackout, any friends or people who can vouch for you?)
Are you applying to other guilds as well? (if yes, then what guilds are that?)

You
(Tell us something about yourself. The guild is a community in the first place. Get creative - it is up to you what you want to say about yourself.)
